Notes

The College Music Theater categories have been divided into upper and lower. The repertoire requirements are different for lower and upper college: lower is three and upper is four.

The former “junior” and “senior” categories are now combined as “upper college” categories. Note that these are open to “fifth-year seniors”. Undergraduates MAY enter the “Advanced College” categories, provided they meet the age and length of study requirements. For DFW chapter auditions we will limit each student to one “classical” entry, however. (i.e. A student may not enter both “upper college” and “advanced” categories. They may, as always, enter both Music Theater and “classical” categories.)

The “Adult Competitive” category is now divided into men and women. There is no longer a “non-competitive” (comments only) category. Students may enter as “non-competitive” in any division for which they meet the qualifications.

Please check repertoire requirements for each category, as some have been changed.
